Atlas Algeria
An Algeria you can finally read
Some information exists — but nobody can find it. The nearest bank branch. The post office that moved. An open pharmacy, a coach station, a school, a 5G coverage area. The answers live in PDFs, forgotten pages, and a few people's memory. When you need them, you call a cousin.
We decided that had to change.
Atlas Algeria puts what matters on one map: transport, banks, post, telecom, delivery, health, education, sport, civil protection, culture, tourism, employment, agriculture. All 69 wilayas and 1,541 communes, in French, Arabic, and English. For the shopkeeper in Oran shipping a parcel, the student in Sétif, the entrepreneur scouting a site — and for those in Paris or Kuala Lumpur who want their parents' village on a map again.
DinarSquare chose to lead the way. A country digitizes when its data becomes accurate, open, and readable in the languages people actually use. That belief drives everything we build: exchange rates, economic analysis, everyday tools — and now a map of an entire country.
The atlas builds on the open work of GeoAlgeria (Yasser Studio, MIT license). We added our own interface and will keep enriching it: new layers, verified sources, updated data.
This is not a project with an end date. It is a country we map together. A mistake, a missing place, a sector to add — tell us, and tomorrow's atlas will be better.

The data
Atlas layers build on maintained npm data packages for Algeria (admin, banks, post, telecom, transport, health, education, and more). Each sector is a versioned, geolocated dataset tied to a wilaya.
31 thematic maps are available on the atlas today.

A hub, not just a tool
DinarSquare is not a single website — it is an ecosystem. dinarsquare.com holds the country's economic memory: exchange rates, trackers, analysis, and guides. ia.dinarsquare.com puts the same intelligence at your service in natural language. algerie.dinarsquare.com maps the whole country, wilaya by wilaya, commune by commune. And My DinarSquare is your personal space to track and manage your assets alongside the data around them.
Four entry points, one conviction: what Algerians and Algerian businesses need to understand, decide, and act should live in one place, up to date, in their language.
That is what makes DinarSquare the country's most complete digital hub — not because we say so, but because every tool we add answers a real need: a data point you were looking for, an answer you did not have, wealth you finally want to see clearly.
We are not at the finish line. Every sector added, every verified dataset, every question asked of the AI moves us toward one goal: an Algeria you can finally read, understand, and act on.
